The iPad mini Apple’s 7.9-inch tablet has received a long awaited upgrade and with that brings it face-to-face with the Android competition.
The iPad mini received the Retina display treatment as well as the A7 64-bit architecture processor and the M7 motion processor as well. Performance increases include 4x performance boost in the CPU and x8 graphics boost compared to the original iPad mini while keeping the 10 hour battery life.
The 7.9-inch display has the same resolution as its bigger brother and has a pixel density of 326pp.
The iPad mini will be available 1 November the bad news is that with the upgrades came a price increase, you can expect the 16GB Wi-Fi
model for $399 and $529 for one with mobile data. Smartcovers and a new Smartcase are available for both the iPad mini and iPad Air.
