The mobile gaming industry is on the rise and Archos is one of the elite trying to capitalize on this rise with its new gaming tablet.

The original was showcased earlier on in the year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, now its back with a successor to that the GamePad 2. The PS Vita looking tablet has a 7″ inch 1280 x 800 IPS display on the front with physical gaming controls, internally the tablet has a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 chip with
2GB of RAM, that’s twice the amount that was available with the original.

The tablet runs on Android 4.2 and with the help of a larger than usual battery for a 7-inch device it should keep the tablet running for hours, the tablet will be available in Europe for $243(R2430) this month.
