‘Bump’ one of the early apps in the iOS App Store has been acquired by Google as the CEO David Lieb announced via a blog spot.
Bump allows users to share data like photos and contact details by simply bumping the phones together. The interesting thing about Bump is that it doesn’t exchange information via NFC, the work is done over its servers thanks to the smart-matching algorithm.

Bump reached 60 million users in 2011 and raised just under 20 million since its been developed, the problem bump had was turning its technology into a business.
