A published report on Saturday credits an anonymous source for passing along some information about upcoming Nokia Lumia models.
These rumoured handsets have one thing in common in that they are all large-screened models. This is definitely one of those times when you are going to need that grain of salt while you process this
information.
Let’s start with the tablets. One tablet is expected to offer a 10.5 inch screen and measure in at 8.5mm thick. Another slate is expected to feature an 8.5 inch display. Both tablets will come in Green, Black, Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow and White and will be made of aluminium. Both slabs will offer Nokia’s ZOOM camera technology. You might recall that “ZOOM” is a big part of Nokia’s upcoming media event scheduled for this coming Thursday at which time the Finnish OEM is expected to introduce the long awaited Nokia EOS.
Looking at the phones, the Nokia Lumia 525 is rumoured to be a 4.5 inch model like the Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 925 and Nokia Lumia 928. The Nokia Lumia 625, which we told you about back in May, is expected to hit the market with a 4.6 inch panel. The Nokia Lumia 725 will be the first Lumia model with a screen sized at 5 inches. The screens continue to get larger with the 5.2 inch glass expected for the Nokia Lumia 825, and taking the line to new heights will be the Nokia Lumia 926 with its 5.5 inch screen. And coming in the middle of June 2014 will be Nokia’s oft-rumored phablet with a 6 to 7 inch display.
The source added that “This information is not a fairy tale … You’ll hear more soon from Nokia”.
Let’s hope that this is the case.
