Let’s get this right of the bat the Blackberry Q5 was suppose to play nice with mid-rangers, now it seems the plasticky device is trying to blend into the high end line of devices.

The Blackberry Q5 will run BB10 and will come in a range of colors features include a Qwerty keyboard paired with a 3.1″ LCD touch screen display, running the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz. Space wise you get 2GB of RAM so the OS can run smoothly, 8GB of user memory which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.

Let’s get down to business the device is now available from Vodacom online store, smaller retailers as well as Vodacom World, the device will also be on all major networks from the 1st of July. The recommended retail price for this phone is R5000(not such a mid-range price ha!), better you get it on Vodacom’s Smart Small plan for R249 per month which you get unlimited BBM messaging.
