Google has been busy updating its Google Plus mobile app the update is a much needed one in the competition to drive the Google+ community.
Google has followed in the foot steps of many photo search applications by allowing you to add filters to photos before posting them online, Google acquired a mobile photography company Snapseed that helped develop the G+ filters.
The UI has been tweaked now you can preview comments below a post, but the iOS version of the app seems to have the upper hand with new profile designs with some nice parallax scrolling animation for the profile header image. The iOS version also gets a redesigned side menu that slides in when you swipe from the left and a new notifications tray on the right.
The troubling thing is that the iOS got more attention than its own Android app, the filters are only available on the iOS version of the app. A few other features have been added too both applications such as filter search and sharing features.
