Sony has unveiled the Sony Xperia L and SP, which are 2 mid-range smartphones with a trick or two that will make you wanna jump from your old device straight into Sony’s corner.
Sony Xperia L:
The Xperia L leaked a few days ago, but the real thing is even better than expected for a phone in the mid-range market the phone takes styling from the Xperia T just to note. The Xperia L comes with a 8MP camera at the back which can take HDR, the front panel is has a 4.3″ inch display with a resolution of 854x480px and a scratch- resistant cover glass.
What runs the L is a 1GHz Dual core Qualcomm MSM8230 chipset. The device has a LED at the bottom which produces some neat illumination effects matching in color the image you are looking at on the screen.
Connectivity wise you get the lot Bluetooth, Wi-fi, 3G HSPA and also NFC support. The Xperia L will launch in Q2 in Red, white and black running Android 4.1 JB.
Sony Xperia SP:
The Sony Xperia is a lovely piece of work from Sony coming with a Dual-core Krait processor the same as the L, but the SP comes with Adreno 320 GPU which is in charge of graphics. 8GB of built in memory expandable via micro-SD, 8MP camera at the back with 1080p capturing the phone comes in at 155g.
Connectivity comes fully loaded with Bluetooth, Wi-fi, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and LTE. The Xperia SP also comes in white, red and black.
