The Nokia Pureview division blew the whole smartphone camera world out of the way with its 41mp sensor that it developed for the Nokia 808 pureview, now rumor has it that same 41mp sensor is making its way to a new Lumia currently in development.
The Guardian backed up rumors of a previous leak that a device called the EOS a Lumia device in development that’s said to have the same 41mp sensor and the smartphone is expected to launch in the summer in the US. Unfortunately, there are no confirmations on the specifications of the device yet. The EOS will capture 5 megapixel images and will use the 808’s over sampling technology to refine the image into a 41mp image.
With the Lumia styling and the 41MP sensor camera phone lovers will find it hard to resist the EOS.
